The weather here turned warm about halfway through February. The trees all burst into bloom. Things began to get a little greener. I kept waiting for another blast of cold to send it all withering. It hasn't come. I guess I'm having a hard time believing that the winter really is over. I can just let out a big breath and enjoy the spring.So many friends are barely seeing the snow melt. We have to mow our grass today. I thought I'd share a few more pictures for those of you still shivering.
These are the first little blossoms on our peach trees. We planted four of them last year.

Yes we are. Things have been extra pretty this year, especially the bradford pear trees all around town.

i am GREEN with envy...but that's the only green I can find so far. Right now it's raining sideways but it is actually in the 50's today. Maybe, God willing, we will see spring soon.
